Artist Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use Tan Concierge as a spray-tan artist, studio owner, or member of a studio team (collectively, an “Artist”). Tan Concierge is operated by Tan Concierge by The Glo CEO (“Tan Concierge”, “we”, “us”). By signing up, you agree to these terms.

1. What Tan Concierge is

Tan Concierge is a hospitality platform for spray-tan studios. We help you organize your client records, send branded communications (intake forms, aftercare texts, review requests), run a loyalty program, track retail recommendations, and give every client her own studio dashboard. We integrate with your existing booking tool — we do not replace it.

2. Your account

You must be at least 18 years old to use Tan Concierge. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us right away at hello@tanconcierge.com if you think your account has been accessed by someone else.

3. Your clients and their data

You decide what client information you record in Tan Concierge. You promise that you have the right to collect and store every piece of client information you upload — names, phone numbers, emails, photos, intake answers, formulas, and notes. If a client asks you to delete her record, you do that from your dashboard; we keep backup copies for a reasonable recovery window and then purge them.

For everything you upload about your clients, you are the “data controller” and we are the “data processor.” That means: you decide what to collect and why, we just store and move it for you under your direction. We never sell your client data, and we never use it to advertise to your clients.

4. Messages we send on your behalf

Tan Concierge sends SMS and email to your clients from a number or address that appears to come from you (your studio name, your brand color, your domain). You are responsible for:

  • Having the right to text or email each client (express consent in the United States under TCPA, express consent in Canada under CASL, and similar laws elsewhere)
  • The accuracy of message content you customize
  • Honoring opt-out requests promptly — including STOP / UNSUB replies and unsubscribe links

We will never send a message to one of your clients without your action or your explicit auto-send settings. We may suspend message sending if we have a reasonable belief that messages from your account are non-compliant, fraudulent, or high-risk.

5. Payment and trial

Tan Concierge offers a free trial of the Studio tier. After the trial ends, you must pick a paid plan to keep your account active. Subscription fees are billed in advance, monthly or annually, through Stripe. You can cancel any time from Settings → Plan. If you cancel mid-cycle, you keep access through the end of your current paid period; we do not pro-rate refunds.

Founding-member pricing is locked in for as long as you stay subscribed without a lapse. If you cancel and re-subscribe later, the founding rate is not reinstated.

6. Acceptable use

You agree NOT to:

  • Use Tan Concierge to send spam, unsolicited messages, or messages that violate any law
  • Upload content that infringes someone else's copyright, trademark, or right to privacy
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or resell access to the platform
  • Use the platform to impersonate someone else or to misrepresent your relationship with Tan Concierge
  • Use Tan Concierge for anything other than running a legitimate spray-tan or related beauty service

7. Intellectual property

We own the Tan Concierge platform — the software, design, content, and brand. You own your studio name, logo, color, client list, formulas, photos, and everything else you upload. You give us a non-exclusive license to host and process your content solely to provide the service to you. That license ends when you delete the content or close your account.

8. Termination

You can close your account at any time from Settings. We can suspend or close an account that we reasonably believe is violating these terms, sending non-compliant messages, engaging in fraud, or putting other users at risk. If we close your account for a reason other than your violation, we will refund any prepaid time not yet used.

9. Warranty and liability

Tan Concierge is provided “as is.” We work hard to keep the service reliable, accurate, and secure, but we don't promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from data loss. To the maximum extent allowed by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these terms is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold Tan Concierge harmless from any claim brought by one of your clients or by a third party that arises from your use of the service — including, for example, a claim that you texted a client without proper consent.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms over time. When we make a material change, we'll bump the version date at the top of this page and ask you to re-accept inside the app at next sign-in. Continued use after that constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute that can't be resolved informally will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Denver County, Colorado.
